You love Tweeting, Facebooking, Instagramming, Pinteresting, blogging and getting your groove on. Apparently, some of you like tending to your virtual farms for hours and hours every day. This is a social media world after all, a new world providing a genius opportunity for not walking around with your brilliant thoughts stuck in your head. You could call it the ultimate relief in brain farting. We love it as much as you do.
Now let’s be honest, chances of you scoring that beer or that phone number are slim if you’re sitting at home upgrading the fence on your online farm, aren’t they? We’re here today to suggest that maybe you should do that some other time, and come for a beer at PUMA Social Club Jozi for a slightly less digitally constrained experience. The bonus, once you’ve scored that phone number, kicked butt at darts and gotten a beer for each of your mates, you can totes update your Twitter. We’d like that actually – say hi here.
Once you’ve updated your Twitter, played games, had a drink, been interviewed, danced and watched a live performance you can STILL stand the chance to win a pair of Puma sneaks for your pics, relive the experience by watching the video of the night online and get updates of what to expect from the PUMA Social Club Jozi weekly. I think it’s safe to say we will have you covered in the event of any digital withdrawl.
Our Pop-Up Club will be open for almost 4 more glorious months. Yes while you may panic leaving the comfort of your armchair for a few minutes, you’ll soon realise that we may offer a slightly different approach to having fun. Being active, healthy, mindful and tech savvy all while holding a beer in your hand, is definitely the new cool.
Once you’ve crossed over, as the new cool kid on the block, you’ll need to be conscious of what you do and what is happening around you. You’ll have to be mindful of your contribution to the world and gives props where they’re due. You will probably have to recycle and be kind to the elderly. We’re not superstitious but if the world were going to end soon, you’re probably going to want to go out with a bang – and not a Tumblr post.
So whilst you might think your life depends on getting your hands on the latest smartphone, we are here to remind you that a good ol’ meet up with good friends is still the thing to do in a world where PUMA Social Club is around. Being a champion in our books is just stepping out the front door, so why not step up and take your trophy.
