We think that this myth is officially busted.
Which myth? You’re probably asking…
We’re talking about the now bindingly apparently untrue myth that Joburg is not the place to be over a December holiday.
Last Friday we not only had a cracker of a lineup (see what we did there?), we also decided to squeeze in a secret performance from Civil Twilight, US based South African superstars.
PUMA Social Club was packed to the rafters – we actually have rafters – putting an end to the Anti-Jozi-In-December sentiment forever.
So just to cement this idea forever, we’re going to throw one more big bash before the end of the year.
On the 28th December, this Friday, we’re celebrating the last PUMA Social Club Jozi event for the year.
The lineup consists of Blacksheep, a DJ duo made up of our resident DJ Matt Suttner and his partner in crime, Mlu from Metro FM. They’ll be joined on stage by a host of South Africa’s dance floor elite including Dustin van Zyl, Household Funk, Tony H and Craig Massiv.
We’re pretty sure we’ll have some surprises up our sleeves for this week as well.
When we chat to you again, it will be 2013, and you will have had the most awesome weekend and New Years Eve ever. We know. Trust us.
