The ill-fated syndrome, known as FOMO (fear of missing out), affects many a seasoned After Hours Athlete around the world. Knowing that personal jokes will be created; “Remember that time…” references made; and worst of all the “It was the best night of my life” line dropped, is enough to make you want to clone yourself and take on any city. We used to suffer from it until PUMA Social Club Jozi opened its mosaic-tiled door to the Mzanzi public. Now our entire conversational array includes jokes about that time the bouncer confiscated the resident DJ’s frozen margarita. Ah, the bliss we now live in.
Your FOMO ends now because we’re taking things international with our live stream from PSCJ this Friday, giving you the ability to enjoy the wonders of Cape Town’s super group, Beast. If you’re watching at your gran’s place just make sure not to sit on those plastic covered couches for too long- you may not be able to get up quickly enough when the show starts.
The live broadcast will be streamed around the world - just click HERE (link will only be active from Friday night at 10:20PM), and it’s a first for PUMA Social Club Jozi. So buy us flowers. There’s actually no excuse to miss out especially for you mountain folk in the Cape - Beast is your baby. If you are in Jozi town then make sure it’s your hands that are being waved in front of the camera and your drink being spilled on the hipster next to you. Durbanites, you may want to put on some shoes for this one.
They say the best things come in threes, who are we to say otherwise with the likes of three certain kings; bears; and how could forget those little pigs. Take three of Cape Town’s hottest bands right now, mix them up in your mom’s new blender add some Tabasco and voila- Beast is born. Inge Beckmann of Lark leads the charge with Louis Nel & Rian Zitsmann from Taxi Violence filling the space with their adrenaline filled bass lines, and all held together by the so-smooth-he-can-slide-uphill, Sasha Righini of The Plastics.
Beast is the new manbearpig. It’s real.
Here is the link again to tune in, this can also be shared: http://go.puma.com/JoziLive - This link will only be active from 10:20PM on Friday night.
