If you think we're joking about that last part, then you obviously haven't experienced the epic array of munchies we've used to fuel the fire of our After Hours Athletes at Puma Social Jozi.
Last Friday we saw the end of the first month of PUMA Social Jozi. While this might sound like sad news at face value, we're here to dispel any such sentiment. Do NOT panic. Yet. In fact, we still have 5 amazing months left of all the bands, ping pong, pool, DJs, foosball, video games, beer pong, board games, bad breakdancing and good beatboxing you could ever handle. So, essentially it's about this time next month you need to start panicking.
If you thought our October artist lineup was cool... well, you'd be right. Our November lineup is designed to knock your proverbial sweatband right off. Without giving too much away. We’d like to give you the following clues:
- Afrocapetownese household name and all round nice guys – GAZ_LLE
- Worldwide fringe rock superstars – BLK J_S
- Eclectic deep soul maestros – THE M_FFINZ
Can you guess? We know it’s hard but think of it as your homework.
Of course there is a lot more to come and a lot more to see like this week’s lineup:
DJ Keyes, Matt Suttner and formidable Durban boytjies, The Anti Retro Vinyls. The band describe their music as:
“a blend of creative, dirty-sounding guitars and smooth, punchy bass lines over loud disco/indie/rock beats, with Greg's unique voice tying together the mix to create catchy, party-hard, rock-out dance music with attitude.”
Phew, our only worry is, will an hour be enough?
Only you can decide, by getting your cute butts (yes all of you) down to PUMA Social club in Jozi this Friday night. We don’t charge you to get in, as long as you register online before arriving at our pop up superjol.
